Firefox has outperforming IE in every department for year's, & version 3 is actually speedier than ever. no matter which browser you choose as your favorite, they each can have issues at any time. they will fill up and slow down seemingly for actually no reason. they can crash and most of the time those are a direct result of some of the things we will fix in this article. in this article, we are going to talk about how to BOOST SPEED OF FIREFOX FOR MAC USERS?

Firefox Update

First, select ”About Firefox”.

Then the browser will now automatically update itself!

Select the ”Restart Firefox” button in order to allow the poses to finish.

Congratulations! You now have the newest version of this amazing browser.

Free Up Some Space or Memory

In order to help this, open up your Firefox browser. Then in the address bar, you need to type about: memory.

You will be presented with a page that just looks like the below. If you're an advanced user, then you can take advantage of the reports offered here.

For the rest of us, we are simply going to tap that ”Minimize Memory Usage” button.

You will then see a message under each & every of these memory options that actually say's“Memory minimization complete,” along with the date & time.

Clear Cache, History & Cookies | speed up firefox

1st, tap those 3 lines at the top-right again, however, this time select ”Options”.

Then tap on ”Privacy and Safety” on the left-hand side.

Scroll down to where you see ”Cookies and Site Data” and then choose that.

Tap on the ”Clear Data” button & a new box will pop up with your option's. Place an X in both boxes and then click the ”Clear”.

Then, scroll the page to the "History" section. Tap that ”Clear History” button.

Now choose carefully which items you would like to clear within the box that comes up. I chose to clear it all… there's nothing that's crucial on behalf of me to stay them.

Disable Extensions | speed up firefox

If you check out each extension that you simply have installed, then you'll see three dots on the proper side. Click those dots and then choose ”Disable” next to each one.

When you have more time, you can re-enable one extension at a time (and then browse it for a while). If you want to see if it was the one that was slowing you down.

When all of the extensions have been disabled, then you need to tap ”Themes” on the left side of the page.

Make sure to select the ”Default Theme” option. Using any of the others can slow your browser by a few – or many! – degrees.
